Bastille - Bad Blood Album

So recently I was introduced to the amazing British band Bastille and became obsessed with their refreshing mix of dramatic, yet soothing, electronic melodies. Shortly after, I purchased my own copy of their debut album, Bad Blood, for a reasonable £9. I think that alone goes to show how much I love them as I willingly spent money when I could have downloaded the album from YouTube for free (immoral and illegal, although often necessary due to surviving on a student budget).
Both lyrically and melodically, (is that even a word?) every song on the album is absolutely phenomenal. Despite having listened to the album fifty two million times(ish) I still cannot choose a favourite track! However, Flaws and Laura Palmer are particularly catchy, perfect for a private karaoke session! Also worth a mention is Oblivion, which I find soothing when i'm feeling a bit down.

Not to mention lead singer, Dan Smith, who has a mind blowing voice and is also insanely attractive. So, if you've been living under a rock for the last few years, I suggest you take a listen to Bastille as they are truly talented and a credit to the British music industry.

Love, Anna x
