How To: Easy Homemade Iced Coffee

This may seem too simple to even need a tutorial style post but after posting an Instagram snap of my homemade iced coffee, a few people asked how I made it. For anyone who is yet to attempt this delicious summer drink, here's how I like mine.


1) Use two teaspoons of instant coffee granules (the Douwe Egberts chocolate infusion makes for a sweeter, mocha style twist) to boil about a third of a cup of coffee. Add sugar to taste.

2) Leave the coffee to cool to room temperature and place in the fridge.

3) Take your drink out of the fridge and fill with ice cubes, I usually use the whole tray of ten.

4) Top up the glass with milk and stir well.

This is my absolute favourite drink at the moment as it's been so hot here in the UK and I'm enjoying lazy sunny afternoons as I'm finally free from exams!
