Love Me Beauty January Box

I've never subscribed to a beauty box before because I don't like the idea of paying without knowing what products are inside. However, I recently stumbled across Love Me Beauty, which allows you to select up to six of your favourite products from a huge range of makeup, skincare, haircare and accessories each month. The first box is half price - £5 (plus postage), so of course I had no choice but to test it out...

This is the product I was most excited for because it's full size which retails at £14! I'm mildly obsessed with anything grey so Hyde Park Place is the perfect shade, its neutral and feels very sophisticated. I also love the gel effect which so far has survived chip free on my nails for a week.

I've seen this brand floating around quite a bit on Instagram lately so was eager to try this lip and cheek balm tint for myself. It's a mini version (10ml) but for a lip balm I think it's the perfect size. I have a love hate relationship with lip balms but this one is hydrating and not too sticky. Although I like the red tint, I have found it unflattering on chapped, sore lips. I'm a bit nervous of smearing red gel on my cheeks but I'll keep you posted if I ever brave it.

I've been after a new facial oil for a while and the full size is £26 so this mini is a great chance to try my first Monu product. It contains apricot seed, hazel seed and rosewood oils which gives it a lovely spa kinda smell. I have oily skin so I use this at night to let it soak in properly. I find one or two blobs leaves my face hydrated and plump in the morning. The bottle also claims not to test on animals so that's always great news for bunnies, yay.
This is another full size product that retails for £14, insanely good value! I have horrendously flat hair that continues to be failed by products everyone else raves about and sadly this product is no exception. The volume hangs around for all of ten minutes before leaving me with my usual sad fluff of a hairstyle. However, the packaging is gorgeous, so at least I can use it as a shelf decoration.
*Update* - I've since tried the Percy and Reed Dry Shampoo* and love it!

I'd consider 3/4 fantastic products for £5 a definite win and can't wait for February's box. Don't forget to use the code ANNA449 to get your first box for half price!
